The goal of this project was to create a versatile library of evergreen imagery for the Upwork marketing team—assets designed to serve them across campaigns for years to come. With a recent shift in their visual identity, Upwork moved away from a more traditional, restrained aesthetic toward a bolder, more vibrant look full of personality and human connection.
We brought this new direction to life over a three-day shoot on location in Los Angeles, collaborating with a dynamic, diverse cast to capture the many faces of modern freelance work—along with the unique personalities and spaces that define it.
